He graduated from the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University, and completed his master’s degree in Sociology.
Between 1990 and 2004, he worked as the Corporate Branch Marketing Manager at Pamukbank Corporate Branches, specializing in Marketing and Loan Departments. He worked as the Head of the Tradesmen Banking Department, the Head of the SME Banking Department, the Head of the Training Department, and the Regional Coordinator at Halkbank Between 2004 and 2015. Simultaneously, he was a member of the Credit Guarantee Fund Board of Directors in 2008-2011. Between 2015-2020, he undertook the positions as the General Manager and Member of the Board of Credit Guarantee Fund Corporation. He was selected as the “Bureaucrat of the Year 2018” at the “Businesspeople of the Year Award Ceremony ” organized by the Economist Magazine.
He has a book titled “The Hidden Power of the Japanese Economy” published by İş Kültür Publications and many published articles. He is a consultant to international companies and, public institutions and he is independent board member of some private sector companies. Besides these roles, he also gives undergraduate courses in Banking at Anadolu University, undergraduate courses in SME Business Administration and graduate courses in Production Management at Haliç University.
