After completing his primary and secondary education in Çankırı, he graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University. He completed his master’s degree in Finance at Gazi University in 2008 and his doctorate in 2011.
In 1998, he was appointed as an assistant auditor at the Finance Inspection Board, and in 2001, he became a public auditor. In 2006, he conducted researches and reviews on “Management of American Government Assets” in the USA. He was appointed as the Head of Department at the Capital Markets Board in 2007. In 2009, he was appointed as the Chief Inspector of Tax, and until June 2011, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the Finance Inspection Board. He was in the USA for various research purposes between 2013-2015 and upon his return, he served again as the Head of Department at the Capital Markets Board. Between 2018-2020, he served as the Deputy General Manager (CFO) at Başkent Natural Gas Distribution REIT Corporation. Between 2020-2024, he worked as a member of the Executive Board and Deputy General Manager (CFO) responsible for Finance and Financial Affairs at NATA Holding Corporation.
He has published books titled “Management of Public Goods in the United States”, “Taxation of Education in Turkish Tax Law” , “Analysis of Expenses Not Legally Recognized in Income and Corporate Taxes”, “Explanation of Law No. 2464 on Municipal Revenues”, and has numerous articles published in various refereed journals on financial legislation and tax law. He held licenses as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Independent Auditor, Capital Markets Level-3, Derivative Instruments, Real Estate Valuation, Credit Rating, and Corporate Governance Rating.
