He completed his high school education at İzmir Finance Vocational High School and graduated from Department of Economics at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University. He started working as an assistant expert at the Capital Markets Board in 2001.
He worked at the Capital Markets Board, where he worked for nearly 20 years, in the Partnership Finance Department, specialized Deputy Head and then Head of Department, Institutional Investors. He served as Chief Expert in the Department of Capital Markets in March 2021. He left his position on the Board of Directors and worked in Corporate Finance at Gedik Yatırım Menkul Değerler Corporation. He started to work as the Responsible Deputy General Manager and will be retiring from this position in May 2022. During his working life at the Capital Markets Board, he took active roles in finalizing the applications of so many capital market instruments.
Especially in 2013 and later, he also took on important tasks based on Capital Markets Law numbered as 6362, such as establishment of prospectuses, export documents and prospectus standards, sale of capital market instruments; bringing some regulations such as shares, debt, warrants into the capital markets legislations. On the other hand, in his working life in the private sector, he played important roles in the realization of initial public offerings. He completed his master’s degree in Accounting and Law at the London School of Economics.
