He graduated from the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Hacettepe University, in 1998. He completed his master’s degree in Political Economy at the University of Illinois in the USA, in 2006.
He served as a Finance Inspector at the Finance Inspection Board between 1998 and 2005, and worked as a VAT Group Manager at the Istanbul Tax Office between 2006 and 2010. Between 2010 and 2013, he continued his career as Tax Director at Ernst & Young Türkiye Tax Department and then at HLB International Türkiye. Afterwards, he worked as Assistant Financial Controller responsible for tax and treasury operations at PepsiCo Türkiye and as Financial Affairs Director at Via Group. Since 2017, he has been providing consultancy and certified public accountancy services.
Tax applications, tax planning, VAT refund, international taxation, preparation of business plans, management and auditing of financial statements, cash flow management, public offering, company structuring, independent audit projects are the areas he focuses and specializes on. He currently works as a Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor.
