He graduated from Ankara Finance High School in 1989 and from the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University in 1993. Subsequently, in 2006, he completed his master’s degree in Financial Economics at Boston University in the USA. He began his career in 1993 as an Assistant Accountant at the Ministry of Finance Accountants’ Board, was appointed as an Accountant in 1997, and as Chief Accountant in 2004, conducting tax audits and research in various sectors of large-scale firms.
In 2007, he was appointed as the Group Manager responsible for Double Taxation Prevention and International Relations at the Revenue Administration Presidency, serving for 2 years overseeing the implementation of Double Taxation Prevention agreements and Information Exchange. In 2008, he left the public service and joined Eren Holding Corporation. He served for a total of 8 years as a Board Member and executive, holding positions as Financial Coordinator for 4 years and Deputy General Manager for Energy Companies for another 4 years. He actively participated in finance, financial affairs, audits, business development, investments, and public relations in energy, port, cement, cardboard, packaging, textile, and retail companies within the Holding, as well as actively engaging in coal and energy trade.
In 2017, he served as the CFO and executive at Polisan Kansai Boya Corporation, following a recommendation from the Japanese Partner Kansai. In addition to managing the company, he worked for 3 years on partner relations and business development with subsidiaries. He held certifications as a Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor.
