He graduated from the İstanbul Kabataş Boys High School in 1994 and Department of Public Administration at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University, in 1998. He got his master’s degree in Financial Economy at the University of Boston in the USA.
He started his career in 1999 as Deputy Finance Inspector at the Ministry of Finance. He was appointed as Finance Inspector in 2002 and as Chief Finance Inspector in 2009. He served as Audit Group Manager at the Large Taxpayers Tax Office in 2007-2008, and as Vice President of the Tax Audit Board, in İstanbul Group for Combating Organized Tax Evasion between 2017-2019. He also served as the Istanbul Large-Scale Taxpayers Group President between 2014-2017, and as a Report Evaluation Commission Member at the İzmir Sectoral Audit Department between 2021-2024. During his public service, he carried out tax audits, inspections of administrative units, investigations and black money investigations for taxpayers operating in many different sectors.
He has a published book called “Explanation of Law No. 2464 on Municipal Revenues” and many articles published in various professional journals. He currently works as a Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor.
